Philip Byrne has been appointed as the new chief risk and compliance officer at the UK’s largest life insurance broker Reassured * .

Byrne is former head of compliance at Markerstudy Group and prior to that was director of risk and compliance at BGL Insurance.

He will now be responsible for enhancing and evolving Reassured’s approach to governance and risk management. Byrne will report to CEO Mark Townsend and joins the senior leadership team.
